About Us

LM Wealth is a financial advice firm delivering value, peace of mind, and making financial concepts easy to understand. We specialise in personal insurance, super and retirement planning advice. Our client relationships are based on trust and integrity, and we aim to partner with clients for life.

LM Wealth Partners is owned by Luke Muir, and began out of a desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Luke listens to a person’s needs, and explains financial concepts in easy-to-understand terms.

His financial services career spans nearly 10 years, specialising in personal insurance, super and retirement planning advice.

Luke holds the CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER) designation, and has completed a Master’s degree in Financial Planning.

Outside of work, he enjoys keeping active with any type of sport, reading, and spending time with his young family.

LM Wealth Partners operates under an Australian Financial Services Licence held by Advice Evolution Pty Ltd. Advice Evolution is not owned by any bank or any product manufacturer, so our advice puts you first.

Personal Insurance

There are 4 types of personal insurance: Life, TPD (Total and Permanent Disability), Income Protection, and Trauma protection.

You probably know someone who has either died suddenly, been affected by cancer, or needed time off work because of illness or injury. It could happen to any one of us. But having the right personal insurance cover ensures you and your loved ones are kept financially secure. You won’t have to worry about where money will come from to cover living expenses.

At LM Wealth Partners we don’t just “sell” you insurance. We provide valuable advice around it. There’s a big difference. Having the right product, premium structure, level of cover, inside or outside of super, are just some areas we consider when making recommendations for you. In some cases, you can lock in premium rates and save considerable money over the long term.

We give advice on all of this, and make it easy to apply.

Super and Retirement Planning

Superannuation is complex and rules change frequently. But we’ll make it simple for you.

A common question for those thinking about retirement is “how much do I need to retire? and can I retire comfortably?” You may be surprised by the answer.

Other questions we help answer include:

  • Am I contributing enough to super? What type of contributions should I be making?
  • How can a ‘transition to retirement’ strategy help me?
  • How does an income stream or pension account work? When can I access my super?
  • What strategies can maximise Centrelink benefits? Can my spouse’s super help me to do this?
  • How should I invest my super?
  • What about beneficiaries? (Super does not generally form part of a person’s estate).

LM Wealth Partners provides advice on all of these areas. We even do the paperwork for you.

What our clients say about us

After 42 years of work, the thought of suddenly retiring was daunting for us. Until we met Luke. He really listened, understood our concerns, and put our mind at ease.

Tony and Faye

I heard colleagues talking about ‘transition retirement’ but never really understood it. Luke explained it easily, and set it all up for me. I would recommended him to anyone.

With two young kids, we wanted our family to be financially secure. Luke helped us with a the right insurance through our super, and we now have peace of mind.
